BIG NEWS...No... I'm not pregnant... that boat has long since sailed!!! However,
I had many request from my 1st grade friends for the Common Core Assessments... they are in the works. Hopefully, they'll be up with a week!
We are having a bit of rain here... so I guess that is spring, however, I really want the blue skies, green grass and birds chirping!!
Life is feeling SO full right now with school, family, parents (health), church etc... I've been neglecting this little blog. I apologize for the lack of fun and freebies lately.
I looked back over last April and found a few things we did and will do again:

We've almost completed our first year using the Common Core.
It's been an adventure learning and teaching new strategies and even a few new concepts. My favorite way of assessing my students is1 on 1 observing and inviting them to show their understanding.. however... time has been a big issue this year and I've found that a quick 10 question quiz on each standard we study helps me see who 'gets' it and who needs additional help. This file contains 50 quizzes on each CC Math Standard for 2nd grade. As we enter the 'reviewing' time for the end of level testing... I thought others might benefit from these little ones. If you are interested... I've posted them here.

I hope you all enjoy!!
You know how great it is to complete a project... that is how I am feeling today!
I am glad so many of you have found great success with DAILY MATH.
I created (a version) many years ago for my own kiddos and found the daily, spiral review so helpful and beneficial.
I MUST thank Amy for the many hours of editing and expertise!!!
You are a sweetheart and I appreciate your help more than you know!!!
