Last summer I participated in the Book Study of Debbie Diller's Math Stations and instantly became a believer!!! She is an amazing educator. Since then I have implemented her strategies and techniques in my own classroom and have seen the difference. Students CAN love math!!! Each month I stepped up the common core standards and switched the activities to provide my kiddos with hands on opportunities to discuss and explore math situations following Debbie's advice. It was a success. They thoroughly enjoyed math time, retained curriculum and scored well on the EOL testing. I am grateful for wonderful talented ladies that share their knowledge so that I can improve my teaching and experiences in my classroom!! Thank you Debbie!!!

I'm trying to implement more math stations in my classroom next year so this sounds like a good book to help with that. I love Debbie Diller's centers book, so I'm sure this will be helpful too! :) Thanks for sharing about it!

Learning Is Something to Treasure
I'm going to go see her speak about her math station ideas next week. Super-excited! That's one thing I really need to revamp next year-what I was doing was really not working.

I am also reading Debbie Diller's Math Workstations too this summer. I am a busy reader. Are you placing these activities on your TPT site? Would love to buy them and look at them.

Lory,
Any chance you will be making math workstations for first grade that are Common Core aligned? I would love them! I teach first and love your products! Gnicholls@d15.org
