Surprise!

I apologize for the lack of blogging lately. My family was given a huge surprise a couple of weeks ago... our sweet mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Yesterday we brought her home from the hospital after receiving a double mastectomy. She is our rock and backbone of our family and we all plan to help her in anyway possible to make things as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My sister, who is 56 is currently in her second round of chemo due to a re-diagnosis of breast cancer. I only hope the best for your mother.

Praying that your mother has a full recovery. It can be tough but together you will get through it. I am celebrating my 8th "birthday" as a breast cancer survivor. ((Hugs)) This too shall pass!

Hi Lory:

I am sending hugs and prayers that your mom's recovery will go quickly and smoothly. My sister is heading towards 10 years cancer-free after a breast cancer diagnosis, and she has a fabulous outlook on life!

Best Wishes,
