Fun with Phonograms

The past couple of years I have been focusing on phonograms with my little kiddos. I didn't appreciate the fact the phonogram knowledge is so helpful and important for young readers. It was a hole in my teaching and I'm so grateful for my ah-ha moment and opportunity to appreciate a new skill that all readers need to have. I created phonogram activities a couple years ago and I've been tweaking them ever since. They've now become sort of their own little program with a student booklet (that we recite every single day... takes only a couple of minutes and a great transition between activities ;) word cards, phonogram flashcards and an activity page for each day of the week. I've uploaded my 1st of 4 files to my Tpt store for you to check out.

I uploaded the 2nd of 4 files today!!

Do these correlate to your spelling words?

Eva... they don't correlate to my spelling words... we use the Houghton Mifflin program for spelling.
